Every magnet is sealed inside the moulded hand or foot behind a double wall, not glued to the surface, so it cannot be picked or pulled out. MagniMates are made for ages 3 and up. As with any toy containing magnets, they are not suitable for children who still put things in their mouths.

There is nothing exposed on the surface to pick at. MagniMates are made for ages 3 and up and are not suitable for children who still put things in their mouths.
They bend rather than hinge. Soft silicone over a flexible core means a limb can be twisted into a shape, left there, and straightened out again. That is the part cheap sets get wrong, and it is the part we spent the money on.
Three and up, and it keeps going a lot longer than most toys marked that way. Younger children click them together and stick them to the fridge. Older ones build domes, bridges and chains, which is where the geometry quietly starts.
Yes, and to the radiator, the dishwasher door, table legs and the inside of the car. Anything the magnets can grip becomes part of the build, which is why the set rarely stays on the floor.
